By choosing this package you set off on an adventure to the west and north of Funchal.
First of all, head to Funchal center for a short-guided tour with commentary via our connected headsets. Afterwards, we will head to the small fishing village: Câmara de Lobos, whose historical heritage is very important as it was the first created in Madeira. We will visit this charming village where the presence of typical fishing boats punctuates the scenery.
After this wonderful visit, we will head to the famous Cabo Girao and its magnificent view of the ocean from a suspended glass platform called a skywalk.
Let’s have a fresh drink then continue our walk along peaceful roads to reach Jardim da Serra and then Câmara de Lobos Estreito.
After a typical Madeiran lunch, we will depart for the Valley of the Nuns; famous valley that was once a refuge for the nuns of the convent of Santa Clara during the invasion of French corsairs in the 1500s. You will marvel at fantastic panoramic views and incredible scenery with many rock formations.
Rich in all the incredible landscapes we have discovered, we will make our way back to Quinta Capucine and celebrate this magnificent day by enjoying a glass of friendship.
